In case you are wondering why it is so blue today it is Light It Up Blue day in honor of World Autism Awareness Day. Even Graceland will be lit up in blue:
(Great article about the mother responsible for getting Graceland blue)
I guess you have heard by now the new info from CDC. Autism diagnosis is up 78 percent in the last ten years with 1 in 88 children and 1 in 54 boys now having autism. I was watching CNN one morning last week and they reported it as now an epidemic. I just laughed because I could have told them that and saved millions of dollars in research. Anyway, this is the article from CNN. For parents it is nothing new, still alot of "we don't know" stuff.
That is all I'm going to discuss about autism today my head is already hurting. For parents we need a "I'm so tired I wish I could sleep all day" day.
And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
Numbers 4:9 (KJV)
Enjoy your day and enjoy the blue.
